A few weeks ago, I chatted with a pal from my college days about books. As my friend and I discussed current novels and authors, we also mentioned authors unknown to one another. My friend had never heard of the “Miss Julia” series by Ann B. Ross, which is a personal favorite for many reasons. Additionally, she had never heard of Rhys Bowen, a British author who has created a fun-loving character named Georgie (who is 34th in line to the throne of England and is trying to make a living after being cut off by her brother). She promised to check out these fiction series. Just as I promised to read a few of her suggestions and I am so thrilled that I did.
