Enoch Pleased God
Saturday, January 13, 2018
Let’s consider a man named Enoch who “pleased God”. He lived not long after the creation of the world. “… And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methusalah three hundred years … And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.” (Genesis 5:21-24) God took Enoch directly to heaven because He pleased God! “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Hebrews 11:5) The means that God used to take Enoch from this earth is described three times in the text by the words “translated” and “translation”.
