Evelene Brown

Evelene Marie Brown, the daughter of the late Otho Ivester and Susie Terry Ivester, was born July 19, 1935, in New Madrid, Mo. 

On February 13, 1956, in Harviell, Mo., she was united in marriage to Georgie Brown. He survives.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Malden, Mo. 

Mrs. Brown departed this life Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in Bloomfield, Mo., at the age of 89 years.

Her survivors include her husband, Georgie Brown of Malden;two daughters, Kathy Cleghorn (Travis) and Elsie Brown; two sons, Leslie Brown (Donna) and Bryan Brown (Andrea); six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by one son, George Edward Brown, four sisters and three brothers. 

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel with Pastor Mark Thrasher officiating. Burial will be in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
