Letter to the Editor

Dear Sir,

I am writing in support of PROPOSITION B which would increase the Missouri tax on cigarettes by $0.73 per pack. It would also increase the tax on other tobacco products.

The results of the tax would be spent on education at all levels of Missouri in trying to prevent and stop the use of tobacco...not a bad idea.

Since I am a smoker this tax will have a direct effect on my person but I believe the possibilities of education of Missouri children against smoking are worth the price.
