Campbell Barnwell "CB" Anderson, Jr., 90, of Hornersville, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2001, at his residence. Born Oct. 14, 1910, in Hornersville, son of the late C.B and Bessie Caneer Anderson, he was a former mayor of Hornersville, a member of the Hornersville Masonic Lodge No. 215 AF & AM, Farmer and Merchants Club of Hornersville and served on the board of the Housing Authority. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Hornersville and worked as maintenance supervisor at Hornersville School. On Dec. 25, 1931, he maried Vera Louise Edwards, who preceded him in death on Sept. 30, 1998. Survivors include one daughter Jane Jamerson and husband, Jimmie, of Hornersville; one son, Rev. Campbell Barnwell Anderson III and wife, Annabelle, of Jacksonville, Texas; one grandson, Tim Jamerson and wife, Veronica, of Hornersville; one granddaughter, Winna Bibbs and husband, Rick, of Hornersville; one great-grandson, Aaron Jamerson, of Hornersville; one great-granddaughter, Emily Jamersom, of Hornersville and three special friends, Dub Ford, W.B. McFarland and Leon Huffines, all of Hornersville. He was preceded in death by one sister, Myrl Widmeyer. Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Bradshaw Emerson Funeral Home in Hornersville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, at the First Baptist Church in Hornersville with the Revs. Kevin Knox and Doug Clinton officiating. Burial will follow at the Horner Cemetery in Hornersville.
