Do you find yourself swatting at gnats that are not there, or wiping away a hair from in front of your face that does not exist? Well, if you are a senior (50+), you are not alone. As a senior, I found myself seeing these little spots in front of my eyes that seem to move when I followed them. Next thing I knew, there were huge clumps that looked like cells under a microscope blocking my vision, but I was the only one who could see them. So, what are floaters, are they something to be worried about, and how can they be prevented?
