Caruthersville officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Avalanche on Beckwith Avenue at W. Thirteenth Street for Improper Registration. The driver of the vehicle a 19-year-old female, was issued citations for No Operators License, No Insurance, and a child restraint violation. The driver was released at the scene with a court date to appear in municipal court.

Officers arrested Marcus Feltus, on multiple warrants out of Hayti. Feltus was taken to the Pemiscot County Justice Center, where he was held on a $718 cash only bond.

Officers responded to 203 W. Tenth Street in reference to a male riding a bicycle knocking over a residents trash can. The resident stated that he observed an irate male knock over his trash can and then leave the area. Officers searched the area for a male matching the description given by the resident, but were unable to locate him.

August 4, 2022

Officers were dispatched, at approximately 12:30 a.m., to the area between East Eighth Street and East Thirteenth Street in reference to multiple complaints from citizens of shots fired. While searching the area, officers located shell casings in the roadway near 1006 Walker Avenue. Several items of evidence were collected and an investigation into the shooting is currently being conducted.

Officers were dispatched to Sullivan’s Auto Tire & Towing in reference to a subject trespassing on the property. Upon arrival, officers learned that Jason Rodgers, who was previously barred from the property had just left after causing a disturbance. Rodgers was later located and issued a citation for First Degree Trespass.

Officers were dispatched to 407 E. Eighth Street in reference to a theft. The caller/owner of the stolen property reported that a subject he was familiar with had stolen several articles of clothing from him. Officers took the information and have begun a theft investigation.

Officers were dispatched to 87 East Haven in reference to theft of a package. Contact was made with the caller, who stated a package that had been delivered to the residence had been stolen, Officers took the callers information and began a theft investigation.
