Medicare, when to enroll
Tuesday, June 14, 2022
Medicare is a federal government-run health insurance program and not a health care provider. If someone has worked over the years, a portion of it is already funded through payroll taxes. It covers only the enrollee and there are several different plans to choose from. Although Medicare has strict sign-up deadlines, a senior doesn’t have to accept it, but if they want it later, it may mean penalties and higher lifetime costs.
