Kennett Police Department Reports 3-27 thru 3-31

March 27, 2021

At 7:40pm, Cpl. Mays was dispatched to the 84 West Motel in reference to a runaway juvenile. After Cpl. Mays arrived on scene, he obtained the information and was able to locate the juvenile who was returned to the parents.

At 10:42pm, Cpl. Mays was dispatched to the 900 block of North Main Street in reference to an assault. After Cpl. Mays arrived on scene, he spoke with the subject involved and later arrested 53-year-old male from Kennett who was charged with Domestic Assault 2nd Degree.

At 11:07pm, Officer Perkins was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to a sexual assault. This is still under investigation.

March 28, 2021

At 02:10am, Officer Perkins conducted a traffic stop on Louis Street. During the course of the stop, Officer Perkins obtained consent to search and located an undisclosed amount of illegal narcotics. Officer Perkins arrested 48-year-old female from Possession of a Controlled Substance.

At 9:48am, Major Stewart was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to a theft. This is currently under investigation.

At 10:21am, Officer Whitt was dispatched to the 400 block of North Vandeventer Street in reference to property damage. At this time, the suspect has been identified but not located.

At 12:57pm, Officer Whitt was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a shoplifter. After Officer Whitt arrived on scene, she arrested 23-year-old female from Malden, Missouri for Burglary 1st Degree.

At 8:08pm, Cpl. Bowles was dispatched to the 400 block of South Walnut Street in reference to a theft. At this time, a suspect has not been located and is under investigation.

At 6:38pm, Officer Perkins was dispatched to the 600 block of Clipper to assist Children’s Division. After Officer Perkins arrived on scene, he located an undisclosed amount of illegal narcotics. He later arrested 37-year-old female from Kennett for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

At 10:36pm, Officer Perkins was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to fraud. This is currently under investigation.

March 29, 2021

At 10:12am, Lt. Moody was dispatched to NAPA Auto parts in reference to a theft. This is currently under investigation at this time.

At 12:41pm, Sgt. Bailey was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to a stolen vehicle. At this time, the vehicle has not been located and is currently under investigation.

At 12:00pm, Sgt. Bailey was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to a missing person. The missing person was later located.

At 4:34pm, Officer J. Moore was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to a domestic. After Officer J. Moore arrived on scene, he spoke to the victim and later arrested 21-year-old male from Kennett who was charged with Domestic Assault 2nd Degree and Possession of Marijuana.

At 4:47pm, Officer Whitt was dispatched to the 100 block of Bradford Place in reference to a theft. This is currently under investigation at this time.

At 6:12pm, Officer J. Moore was dispatched to Hucks in reference to a shoplifter. After Officer J. Moore arrived on scene, he arrested 65-year-old female who was later released on a summons for shoplifting.

At 9:00pm, Officer Ellison was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a theft. At this time this is currently under investigation.

March 30, 2021

At 12:54am, Cpl. Bowles was dispatched to the 600 block of Wiggs Street in reference to a domestic. After Cpl. Bowles arrived on scene, he spoke with the subjects involved and no charges were pursued.

At 11:08am, Cpl. Delahunt was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to stealing. This is currently under investigation.

At 5:39pm, Officer Ramsdill was dispatched to Hucks in reference to a stolen vehicle. At this time, the suspects have been identified.

March 31, 2021

At 1:03pm, Sgt. Bailey was dispatched to the Kennett Police Department in reference to threats. This is currently under investigation.
