The Holcomb Drama Club will be presenting the comedy, “The Bachelor King”, by Martin A. Follose from Pioneer Drama Service, Inc. The performances will be held on Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Holcomb High School Auditorium.

High school senior, Noah Hobbs, is starring as the Bachelor King, Yokel. Yokel is a hillbilly that visits the king, played by senior Matthew Finley, to make a request for his family and ends up accidentally becoming king after the present king’s untimely death.

The play is a spoof of The Bachelor, Survivor and American Idol rolled into one. Yokel must choose between five bachelorettes with quite the range of personalities.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance from the high school office or may be purchased at the door.
