Dec. 29 - Officers were called to the 700 Block of South 6th in reference to a removal of a subject. As a result of the call officers arrested Rick Owen Greene, 28, of Hayti for disobedience to police. Greene was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond of $136 and a court date.

Dec. 30 - At 12:01 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle from improper registration. As a result of the stop officers arrested James H. Estell 2nd, 42, of Hayti Heights on an outstanding Kansas City warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of resisting arrest. Estell was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond of $25,000.

Dec. 30 - At 11:48 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired tags. As a result of the stop officers arrested a 35 year old male of Kennett for driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. The male was processed at the police department and released pending the filing of formal charges by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Dec. 31 - At 12:41 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on North Third. As a result of the stop officers arrested Terikeoshae T. Davis of Hayti for driving while intoxicated. Davis was processed at the police department and later released with a court date.

Jan. 1 - At 12:03 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding as a result of the stop, officers arrested Joshua A. Edmonson, 31, of Kennett on an outstanding New Madrid county warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of violation of order of protection and bond of $419.50. He also had an outstanding Portageville warrant for domestic assault with a bond of $34.50. Edmonson was transported to the Justice Center on the 2 warrants.

Jan. 1 - At 2:10 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving in the wrong lane of the roadway. As a result of the stop officers arrested a 58 year old of Hayti Heights for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and possession of a stolen firearm.The 58 year old was processed and transported to the Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges.

Jan. 1 - At 4:20 a.m. officers were called to the Pilot Travel Center in reference to an altercation with 2 customers who had just left. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. As a result of the stop officers arrested a 48 year old of Kennett for driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended. The 48 year old was processed and later released pending the filing of formal charges.

Jan. 6 - At 12:07 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for swerving on the roadway. As a result of the stop officers arrested the driver of the vehicle, Tammy Lynn Powell, 50, of Dyersburg, for driving while intoxicated and open container. Powell was processed and later released with a city court date.

Jan. 6 - At 11:14 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle front license plate. During the stop officers located a controlled substance. The 24 year old driver of Caruthersville was arrested for possession of controlled substance, introduction of contraband into a correctional facility, possession of marijuana, and no driver’s license. The 24 year old was processed and transported to the Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges.

Jan. 7 - The Prosecutor’s Office formally charged Marina N. Smith, 24, of Caruthersville with possession of a controlled substance (class D felony). Smith has a bond of $5,000 cash or surety.

Jan. 7 - At 8:55 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired tags as a result of the stop officers arrested the driver, Mica Winters, 25, of Hayti on an outstanding city of Hayti warrant for failure to appear on no operators. Winter was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond of $55.

Jan. 7 - At 8:55 p.m. officers located and arrested Robert P. Peel, 32, of Hayti on an outstanding city warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended. Peel was processed and transported to the Justice Center with a bond of $188.
