Adelphian Christmas Bazaar packed all day Saturday
The Kennett American Legion was packed throughout the entire day Saturday as residents near and far filled both the main hall and the entrance area.
Not only was the attendance a whopping surprise to many but the number of vendors was up as well.
Jan Goodwin of Cape Girardeau said she and her family loves to come down to the Kennett bazaar each year.
“We love coming down here each year and finding several holiday bargains and of course, the good food as well,” said Goodwin. “We tend to see some of the same people each year and it’s nice to catch up and see how their year has been as well.”
Like Goodwin, most people tend to know what they want when they go in but sometimes they are caught leaving with a little extra something.
The Adelphian Christmas Bazaar is held each year on the first Saturday of December at the American Legion building on First St. in Kennett.
