Seedings released for Bloomfield Christmas Tournament (bracket included)

The seedings were released for the Bloomfield Christmas Tournament Sunday afternoon.

Hayti received the top seed in the 16-team varsity boys basketball tournament slated to take place Dec. 26-29.

Hayti will play No. 16 seeded Richland in the first round Dec. 26 at 10 a.m.

Other first round games on Dec. 26 include: No. 2 seeded Dexter vs. No. 15 seeded Holcomb at 11:15 a.m., No. 3 seeded Doniphan vs. No. 14 seeded Puxico at 12:30 p.m., No. 4 seeded Malden vs. No. 13 seeded Van Buren at 2 p.m., No. 5 seeded Bloomfield vs. No. 12 seeded Gideon at 3:30 p.m., No. 6 seeded Kennett vs. No. 11 seeded South Pemiscot at 5 p.m., No. 7 seeded Portageville vs. No. 10 seeded Bernie at 6:30 p.m. and No. 8 seeded Twin Rivers vs. No. 9 seeded East Prairie at 8 p.m.

Consolation quarterfinals and championship quarterfinals are Dec. 27.

Consolation semifinals, fifth place semifinals and championship semifinals are Dec. 28.

Championship round games are Dec. 29 with the title game starting Dec. 29 at about 8:30 p.m.
