Wednesday, May 27, 2015
Kennett District 39 recently finished a six-week Faculty Wellness Challenge. According to District Wellness Coordinator Leah Jo Wallace, this was the second year for the district challenge sparked by the Wellness Teams on each of the school campuses. Its purpose was to create a desire to become healthier and create incentive to start living an overall healthier life style. A little friendly competition always seems to add a little motivation to the contest. There were a total of 33 teams and 133 participants in the district. First, second, and third place prizes were awarded on each of the five campuses. Each campus also awarded a prize for the Biggest Loser.
