KMS students get dramatic Red Ribbon Week message

Red Ribbon Week ended on a somber note at Kennett Middle School Friday. Students heard from Shawna Buchanan of Licking, Mo. She travels around the state sharing her personal story about the dangers of drinking and driving as part of the Think First Missouri Campaign. The 32-year-old former state cross country and track star talked to students from the wheel chair that has been her constant companion for eight years.
