Mary Ellen Ogden, 83, of Wardell, Mo., passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Jan. 15, 1931, in Phillippi, Tenn., daughter of the late Elmo and Hettie Davison, she was a member of the Living Word Tabernacle near Holcomb, Mo. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie Ogden and wife, Pam, of Gainsville, Mo., and Steve Ogden and wife, Sharon, of Navarre, Fla.; two daughters, Betty Jo Kincaid and husband, Charles, of Beach Park, Ill., and Hope Swims and husband, John, of Wardell; two brothers, Dennis Davison, of Bentonville, Ark., and Johnny Davison; two sisters, Wilma Dee Oller, of Ashflat, Ark., and Peggy Burnett, of Fayetteville, Ark.; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Troy Edward Ogden; one son, Doyle Ogden, and two grandchildren, Leigh Ann Ogden and Chad Dewayne Ogden.
Visitation will be held from noon to service time at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Living Word Tabernacle.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Living Word Tabernacle with Rev. Bill Ivy officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
