New government regulations have dramatic impact on trucking industry

Mark Twain once said, "There are three kinds of lies: there are lies, damned lies, and statistics." In 2009, 10.8 million motor vehicle accidents occurred in the U.S., and 500,000 (4.6 percent) of those involved large trucks, this according to a report by the U.S. Census Bureau in 2012.
