Both Lonnie Robinson and Thackery Moore are scheduled to appear before Judge Robert N. Mayer on February 13, 2013 to be arraigned.
Moore, 18 and Robinson, 17 were arrested Wednesday, December 19, 2012 after Kennett Police Officers answered a call of an armed robbery in the area of the Gargus Addition, in Kennett. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, a 21 year old male from Kennett. The victim told Police that two males whom he knew as Robinson and Moore both of Kennett, robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects, forcibly took the victim's wallet and cellphone, struck the victim in the head with their fist, then fled north towards the north by-pass.
Officers then began a search for the suspects, and soon located them in the 500 block of Sage Brush in Kennett. Officers located the suspects and the firearm, later determined to be the one used in the robbery, and placed both of the individuals under arrest. Officers also located evidence of the crime, including the victim's cell phone and wallet.
Both Moore and Robinson are being charged with robbery in the first degree and Armed Criminal Action.
The bond for both individuals was set at $100,000, cash only, as recommended by the Dunklin County Prosecutor's Office. A motion was made on December 21, 2012 to reduce the amount of the bond amounts, however Judge Spielman denied the motion for the reductions.
The arraignment for both individuals will begin at 10:30 a.m.
