HAYTI, Mo. -- A hotline call at Hayti on Tuesday resulted in the arrest of five individuals from the local area.
According to authorities, on Jan. 29, Hayti officers were investigating a hotline call with the division of Family Services in the 900 block South Fourth Street in Hayti.
During this investigation Hayti officers were granted permission to search the residence, leading to five arrest, the recovery two weapons, marijuana, and prescription medication and drug paraphernalia.
The arrests are as follows:
* 20-year-old Breanna L. Weaver, of Wardell, Mo., was arrested on three Pemiscot County warrants on charges of driving while revoked / stop sign violation and no insurance. Weaver was processed at the Hayti Police Department and incarcerated in the Pemiscot County Justice Center in lieu of a $1,500 bond.
* A 23-year-old male subject from Wardell, was arrested for Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of controlled substance (Xanax), and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed at Hayti Police Department and incarcerated in Pemiscot County Justice Center awaiting the filing of formal charges.
* A 22-year-old white male of Hayti was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of two firearms and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). He was processed and incarcerated in the Pemiscot County Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges.
* A 23-year-old male and a 28-year-old female, both of Hayti, were processed and released after further investigation.
The initial hotline investigation by the Hayti Police Officers and the Division of Family Services is ongoing. The victims in this case were placed in the custody of family members outside the home.
