Strong perimeter shooting propels South Pemiscot boys past Neelyville 70-58

STEELE, Mo. - The South Pemiscot Bulldogs hit nine 3-pointers in a 70-58 home win against the Neelyville Tigers Friday night.

Jacob Trammel led the Bulldogs with 21 points. He hit seven of the 16 treys he attempted.

Anthony Primer tallied 13 points for South Pemiscot. Logan Carter added 12 more for the Bulldogs.

South Pemiscot shot (9 of 22) from 3-point range and hit 18 of 40 2's.

South Pemiscot (13-7) returns to action Tuesday at 8 p.m. when it plays Caruthersville in the first round of the Bootheel Conference Tournament at Malden. South Pemiscot is the No. 6 seed in the 7-team tournament and Caruthersville is the No. 3 seed. South Pemiscot is 2-0 against Caruthersville this season.
