CAMPBELL, Mo. - The Kennett varsity girls basketball team put together a complete team effort Tuesday night in a 78-23 win at Campbell.
Kennett coach Rod Baxter said all of the players who dressed for the game scored at least one point.
"All 11 girls who dressed scored," Baxter said. "We are on a roll."
Kate Shetley paced Kennett with 12 points. She hit three of Kennett's six 3-pointers. All three of Shetley's treys were recorded in the second quarter.
Rausheda Rose tallied 11 points for Kennett. Lara Abmeyer, Logan Vaughan and Jenny Lockhert each recorded nine points.
Campbell's offense was led by Alyssa Everett, who also scored nine points.
Kennett (10-7) improves to 6-0 in Bootheel Conference regular-season play with the road win.
The stage is set for a Bootheel Conference showdown between Kennett and South Pemiscot next week. Kennett will finish Bootheel Conference regular-season play perfect and secure the No. 1 seed in the upcoming conference tournament if it can beat traditional Bootheel Conference juggernaut South Pemiscot at Kennett Jan. 28.
Kennett plays at Poplar Bluff Thursday night before Monday's big game with South Pemiscot.
