Senath-Hornersville boys snap losing streak against district foe Cooter

COOTER, Mo. - The Senath-Hornersville varsity boys basketball team picked up a key win against a district opponent when it beat the Cooter Wildcats 74-42 Tuesday night.

Senath-Hornersville coach Davis Heeb said his team built a 38-point lead by the midway point of the third period.

Senath-Hornersville led the game 45-14 at halftime.

Austin Autry paced Senath-Hornersville's offense with 27 points. Kyle Moore recorded 17 points for Senath-Hornersville.

Senath-Hornersville snapped a 3-game losing steak with the victory.

Senath-Hornersville beat Cooter 72-51 in the junior varsity game.

Both teams will compete in Class 2, District 1, at Bloomfield at the end of the season.

Senath-Hornersville (5-11) will host Risco Thursday. Cooter (2-11) will host Hayti Thursday.
