Kennett man killed in single-vehicle crash

CARDWELL, Mo. ---- A 34-year-old Kennett man was killed as a result to a single-vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday morning.

According to Trooper R.L. Vannada with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at approximately 4 a.m., Jan. 19, David Webb was driving east on Highway 412, one mile east of Cardwell, in a 2001 Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle ran off the north side of the road and overturned several times, ejecting Webb.

Webb was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash and was taken to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett by Dunklin County Coroner, James Powell.

The 2001 Chevrolet Impala was totaled and was towed from the scene.

Webb was reported to have not been wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

This accident marks the second fatality for Troop E for 2013.
