Host sites of basketball state playoff games released

The host sites of district tournaments and state playoff games have been released for the 2013 Missouri high school state basketball playoffs.

Class 1, 2 and 3 boys and girls district tournaments will take place the week of Feb.16-22.

Class 1, District 1, will feature Clarkton, Delta C-7, Gideon, Koshkonong, Naylor, North Pemiscot, Risco and Southland. Gideon will host Class 1, District 1.

Scott County Central will host Class 1, District 2, which will feature Bell City, Delta, Leopold, McKinley Classical Leadership, Oak Ridge, Richland, Scott County Central and Fulton School at St. Albans. Bunker will host Class 1, District 3, which will feature Bunker, Eminence, Lesterville, Marquand-Zion, South Iron, Summersville and Zalma. Chadwick will host Class 1, District 4, which will feature Bradleyville, Chadwick, Exeter, Hurley, Lutie, Niangua, Thomas Jefferson Independent and Verona.

The winner of Class 1, District 1, will play the winner of Class 1, District 2, in a state sectional on Feb. 26 at Bloomfield High School. The winner of Class 1, District 3, will play the winner of Class 1, District 4, in a state sectional on Feb. 26 at Cabool High School. The winners of the Class 1 state sectional games will meet on Mar. 2 in a state quarterfinal at Bearcat Event Center in Dexter.

Class 2, District 1, will feature Bernie, Bloomfield, Campbell, Cooter, Hayti, Holcomb, Portageville, Senath-Hornersville and South Pemiscot. Bloomfield will host Class 2, District 1.

Van Buren will host Class 2, District 2, which will feature Couch, East Carter County, Greenville, Neelyville, Puxico, Thayer, Van Buren and Winona. Bismarck will host Class 2, District 3, which will feature Advance, Bismarck, Chaffee, Ellington, Meadow Heights, Oran, Valley and Viburnum. Crystal City will host Class 2, District 4, which will feature Barat Academy, Crossroads College Preparatory, Crystal City, Elsberry, Kingston, New Haven, St. Vincent and Valle Catholic.

The winner of Class 2, District 1, will play the winner of Class 2, District 2, Feb. 27 at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Mo. The winner of Class 2, District 3, will play the winner of Class 2, District 4, Feb. 27 at Park Hills Central High School. The winners of the Class 2 state sectional games will meet in a state quarterfinal Mar. 2 at Farmington Civic Center.

Class 3, District 1, will feature Caruthersville, New Madrid County Central, Charleston, Doniphan, East Prairie, Kelly, Malden and Twin Rivers. Malden will host Class 3, District 1.

West County will host Class 3, District 2, which will feature Arcadia Valley, Clearwater, Jefferson, Saxony Lutheran, Scott City, St. Pius X, West County and Woodland. Herculaneum will host Class 3, District 3, which will feature Carnahan, Cleveland NJROTC, College Preparatory High School at Madison, Construction Careers Charter, Grandview, Hancock, Herculaneum and Lift for Life Academy Charter. Lutheran St. Peters will host Class 3, District 4, which will feature Brentwood, John Burroughs, John F. Kennedy, Lutheran St. Peters, Maplewood-Richmond Heights, Principia, Valley Park and Whitfield.

The winner of Class 3, District 1, will play the winner of Class 3, District 2, on Feb. 27 at Bearcat Event Center in Dexter. The winner of Class 3, District 3, will play the winner of Class 3, District 4 on Feb. 27 at Lindenwood University in St. Charles. The winners of the Class 3 state sectional games will meet in a state quarterfinal on Mar. 2 at Jefferson College in Hillsboro.

Class 4 and 5 boys and girls district tournaments will take place the week of Feb. 23 - Mar. 1.

Class 4, District 1, will feature Cape Central, Dexter, Kennett, Notre Dame, Perryville and Sikeston. Dexter will host Class 4, District 1.

Park Hills Central will host Class 4, District 2, which will feature Park Hills Central, Farmington, Fredericktown, North County, Potosi and Ste. Genevieve. DeSoto will host Class 4, District 3, which will feature Affton, DeSoto, Festus, Hillsboro, Lutheran South and Windsor. St. Mary's (St. Louis) will host Class 4, District 4, which will feature Bayless, Bishop DuBourg, Gateway, Roosevelt and St. Mary's.

The winner of Class 4, District 1, will play the winner of Class 4, District 2, Mar. 6 at Mineral Area College in Park Hills. The winner of Class 4, District 3, will play the winner of Class 4, District 4, on Mar. 6 at Jefferson College in Hillsboro. The winners of the Class 4 state sectional games will meet on Mar. 9 in a state quarterfinal at Farmington Civic Center.

Class 5, District 1, will feature Fox, Jackson, Oakville, Poplar Bluff and Seckman. Oakville will host Class 5, District 1.

Ladue Horton Watkins will host Class 5, District 2, which will feature Chaminade, Ladue Horton Watkins, Ritenour, Riverview Gardens and St. Louis University. Marquette will host Class 5, District 3, which will feature Eureka, Lafayette, Marquette, Parkway South and Rockwood Summit. Parkway Central will host Class 5, District 4, which will feature Christian Brothers College, DeSmet, Parkway Central, Parkway North, Parkway West and Pattonville.

The winner of Class 5, District 1, will play the winner of Class 5, District 2, Mar. 6 at Northwest High School in Cedar Hill. The winner of Class 5, District 3, will play the winner of Class 5, District 4, Mar. 6 at Maryville University in St. Louis. The winners of the Class 5 state sectional games will meet on Mar. 9 in a state quarterfinal at Lindenwood University.

The Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 final four will take place Mar. 7-9 at Mizzou Arena and Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo. The Class 4 and Class 5 final four will take place Mar. 14-17 at Mizzou Arena.
