One injured in two-car crash

DUNKLIN, Co., Mo. ---- One man was injured during a two vehicle crash on Highway 25, five miles north of Kennett.

According to Trooper R.L. Vannada with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at approximately 9 p.m., Thursday night, a southbound 2007 Freightliner, driven by 49 year old Frank Lehenbauer of Doniphan, Mo., attempted to pass a 2007 Jeep Liberty, driven by Charles Brown, 36 of White Oak, Mo., when the Jeep turned into the path of the Freightliner.

The 2007 Freightliner was reported to have moderate damage following the crash, while the 2007 Jeep Liberty was totaled.

Brown was treated for moderate injuries at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center, where he was taken by ambulance.

The drivers of both of the vehicles were reported to have been wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
