Dolph Pritchett, son of the late Pat Pritchett and Marie Lemonds Pritchett, was born Dec. 3, 1942, in Kennett, and departed this life Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the age of 70 years 1 month and 6 days.
On Sept. 10, 1988, he married Phyllis Wimberley.
He was a member of Teamsters # 677 in Memphis, Tenn., and a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett, where he was active in the choir.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Pritchett, of Kennett; two sons, Dolph Pritchett III and Michelle, of Paragould, Ark., and Brandon Burke and wife, Stephanie, of Paragould; two daughters, Missy Hawkins and Danny, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Kristi Rothman and husband, Chris, of Birmingham, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Roger Pritchett and wife, Tammy, of Kennett,; two sisters, Jerrolyn Self and husband, Don, of Sikeston, Mo., and Debra Pritchett, of Kennett, and many nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Dewayne Pritchett and Darrell Pritchett.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Revs. Ed Jansson and Greg Medenwald officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Chad Pritchett, Dustin Pritchett, Brian Self, Kevin Self, Brandon Burke and Sonny Wimberley.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Tommy Sutton, Jim McCord, Bud Neal, Tommy Noah, Jim McKuin, Elmo Hollis, Roger Montgomery, Harold Wimberley and the McDonald coffee buddies, golf buddies and men of the First Baptist Church Choir.
