Born on October 8, 1930, in Atkins, Ark., he was the son of the late Henry Franklin, Sr. and Alma Mae (Philpott) Rogers. On May 17, 1955, in Wichita, Kan., he was united in marriage to Gladys Louise Pierce, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Dianna Rogers of Malden; one brother, Vernon Rogers of Lilbourn, two grandsons, Mason Curtis of Malden and Jesse Curtis of Malden and one nephew, Jerry Baker of Elsinore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Baker.
Visitation was held Thursday, January 3, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services were conducted Friday, January 4, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Earnest Puckett officiating. Burial with Military Rites was in Rosewood Cemetery at Malden. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
