She was born November 28, 1916, in Malden, and was the daughter of the late Edward Harris and Maudie Nancy (King) Harris. On January 22, 1949, in Risco, she was united in marriage to Wilfred Brueseke, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Harris and three sisters, Lemma Johnson, Lurlean Holloway and Edna Rodriguez.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Worlds and husband, Robert, of Centralia, Ill.; one son, Yvonne Crawley and wife, Carolyn, of St. Charles, Mo;, five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren; a sister, Ina Lindley of Jefferson City, Mo.; a brother, Donald Harris of O'Fallon, Mo.
Visitation was held Friday, January 4, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services followed immediately in the funeral home chapel with Mr. James Powell officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden. Landess Funeral home of Malden was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
