Four individuals were injured following a two car crash the morning of Jan. 5, 2013.
According to T.P. Watson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at approximately 7:45 a.m. a 2005 Ford F 150, driven by David Campbell, 37 of Dyersburg, Tenn., was traveling west on Highway 412, when Kara Houchins, 20 of Senath, Mo., driving a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer pulled out of County Road 537, into the path of the Ford F 150.
Houchins and Jeffery Cloinger, a 49 year old Dyersburg passenger of the Ford F1 50 were seriously injured and were taken to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center, in Kennett by ambulance. Passenger, Kade Campbell, 5, of Dyersburg sustained minor injuries and was also taken to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center. David Campbell, the driver of the Ford F 150 reported minor injuries and was treated at the scene of the crash.
The 2005 Ford F 150 and the 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer were extensively damaged and were towed from the scene.
All passengers in the Ford F 150 were reported to have been wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, while Houchins was reported to have not been wearing her seatbelt at the time of impact.
