Child injured in two-car crash

WHITE OAK, Mo. ---- One Kennett child was injured following a two car crash on Highway 25, at White Oak on Sunday.

According to B.W. Emerson with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at approximately 4:27 p.m., a southbound 1995 Chevrolet Truck, driven by Harold Click, 35 of Rector, Ark., when a 2005 Hyundai, driven by Crystal Duncan, 23 of Kennett, also traveling south struck the Chevrolet truck in the rear end.

Two year old Alyssa Duncan of Kennett sustained minor injuries from the crash and was taken to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center by ambulance. Neither of the drivers reported injuries in relation to the crash.

The 1995 Chevrolet Truck was reported to have had minor damage and was driven from the scene by the owner. The 2005 Hyundai was totaled and was towed from the scene.

Both of the drivers were reported to have been wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, while the two year old child was not.
