Pam Jackson, owner of the Polka Dot Rooster, presents to Minnie Sanders, director of the Dunklin County Caring Council a donation to be used for ICARE. In October, Jackson took 10 percent of her pink ribbon sales just for this donation. Jackson explained that she wished to do this because she wanted to make a difference in the healthcare of cancer patients. She also wishes to give back to the community who has generously supported her in her new business.
