Bernice Velma Graham, daughter of the late Nolen L. Smith and Cora Ellen Walke Smith, was born Oct. 6, 1928 in Rector, Ark., and departed this life Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 23 days.

Bernice married John Earl Graham on Aug. 27, 1942.

Survivors include her husband, John Earl Graham, of Kennett; two daughters, Velma Jean Graham, of Kennett, and Kathy Ellen Graham, of Cabot, Ark.; four grandchildren, Lisa Diane Fisher and husband, Scott, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Kevin Marks and wife, Meredith, of Rector, Michele Forinash and husband, Mike, of Cabot, and Danielle Shafer and husband, Irby, of Jacksonville, Ark.; seven great grandchildren, Travis Causbie and wife, Jessica, of Kennett, Brandon Causbie and wife, Alicia, of Farmington, Mo., Richard Causbie and wife, Angie, of Fort Walton Beach, James Fisher, of Fort Walton Beach, Hunter Alsbrook, of Jacksonville, Ark., Ashten Shafer, of Jacksonville, and Summer Forinash, of Cabot; five great-great-grandchildren, Kaylen Causbie, Amelia Causbie and Aiden Causbie, all of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Abaigael Causbie, of Fort Walton Beach, Hunter Causbie, of Farmington, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Jan. 2, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Myrl Frederick officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Scott Fisher, Kevin Marks, Travis Causbie, Coltin and Tim Lively and Bill Blankenship.
