She was born on Sept. 12, 1925, to the late Elmer Tate and Annie Smallwood Tate in Jasper, Alabama and was of the Baptist faith.
She was married to Arthur Junior Whitworth who preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, William Tate and Clyde Whitworth, both of Flint, Mich., Larry Whitworth and wife, Teresa, of Clinton, Ark., and Samuel Whitworth, of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Shirley Heathington, of Kennett; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will from 12:30 p.m., until service time at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, at Bradshaw Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Bradshaw Chapel with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.
Burial will be in the Cardwell Cemetery in Cardwell, Mo.
