Patrol assists with arrest from Arkansas in Dunklin County

DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. ---- David Pullam, 39, of Paragould, Ark., was arrested this morning Thursday, December 13, at approximately 12:25 a.m., following a police chase that began in Arkansas and ended in Dunklin County.

According to Trooper Clark Parrott, with the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the chase ended at approximately midnight, Thursday morning east of the bridge at the St. Francis River on Highway 84.

The MSHP Officers layed out spike stips to stop Pullam, at which point Pullam fled to a nearby wooded area. He was arrested a short time later.

Pullam is facing felony resisting arrest, felony unlawful possession of a firearm and felony child endangerment, for Pullam had a child in the vehicle with him during the pursuit.

A call to the Arkansas officer that initiated the pursuit, seeking information regarding the child's relationship and the reason the chase began, was not returned by press time.
