Roger Kent Wright, son of Norma Jean Jackson Wright and the late John Allen Wright, was born in Parma on November 10, 1959, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Health Care in Dexter on December 3, 2012, at the age of 53 years and 23 days.
He had lived most of his life in the Malden and Parma, Missouri area. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ in Parma.
Surviving are his mother, Norma J. Wright of Malden; two sons, Quentin Wright and Lamont Dobbins, both of Malden; one daughter, Tatyana Wright of Malden; one adopted son, Cortez Dobbins of Malden; several grandchildren; four brothers, Johnny Wright, Stacy Wright, David Wright, and Michael Earl Wright, all of Malden; and four sisters, Mary Ann Shaw of Malden, Susan Wright Smith of Little Rock, Arkansas, Tracy Wright of Malden, and Carol McKinley of Little Rock, Arkansas; a special friend, Linda Dobbins of Malden. Many nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wright; two brothers, Carl Wright and Terry Wright; and one adopted sister, Regina Thatch.
Visitation was held at 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. on Saturday December 8, 2012 at the Church of God in Christ Church in Parma, Missouri.
Funeral services will conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Church of God in Christ in Parma, Missouri with Elder James Farr of Malden, Missouri officiating.
Interment followed in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
