Maple Mount, Ky., -- Sister Miriam Medley, 93, an Ursuline Sister of Mount Saint Joseph, died Nov. 26 at Mount Saint Joseph, in her 73rd year of religious life.
A native of Loretto, Ky., she taught at St. Teresa School in Glennonville from 1946-54, with her last year as principal. She spent a total of 53 years as an educator, the rest in Kentucky.
Survivors include a sister, Kathleen Daugherty of Louisville, nieces and nephews, and the members of her religious community.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mount Saint Joseph, where visitation will begin Thursday at 4 p.m., with a wake service following at 6:30 p.m.
Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, Owensboro, is in charge of arrangements.
