B.R. "Bond" Cross, son of the late Louis Floyce and Sally Louella Davis Cross, was born Oct. 4, 1934, in Kennett, and passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at his residence in Cardwell, Mo., at the age of 78.
He married Anna Louise Cupp, who preceded him in death July 1, 1999. He later married Mary Reyes on Feb. 5, 2005, in Cardwell.
He was a former mayor of Cardwell, and was a member of Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cross, of Cardwell; four sons, Curtis Cross and wife, Angela, of Columbia, Tenn., Kenny Jones, of Paramount, Calif., Kevin Jones and wife, Tracy, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Larry Jones and wife, Dana, of Cardwell; three daughters, Debbie Richards and husband, Bob, of Phoenix, Ariz., Lorri Keough, of Phoenix, and Kim Malone and husband, Bill, of Cardwell; one sister, Francis Staley, of Flint, Mich.; a special caregiver, granddaughter, Haylee Malone, of Cardwell; 21 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., and continue until service time at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at Calvary Full Gospel Church in Cardwell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Calvary full Gospel Church in Cardwell with Rev. Mark McMinn officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cardwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Gary Waddell, Kevin Jones, Larry Jones, Josh Faulkner, Carl Drury, Hayden Cross, Jeff Nolen and Dalton Lewis.
