20-year-old Steele man arrested on felony drug charges

STEELE, Mo. ---- According to the Steele Police Department, on November 27, 2012, the Steele Police approached a male who was acting suspiciously on Gifford Street in Steele. As officers approached the male, the subject reached into his pocket and threw several baggies of proportioned marijuana onto the ground.

The officer quickly arrested the suspect. The suspect, identified as Shane Myers, 20, of Steele, was transported to the Steele Police Department, where he was processed and later transported to the Pemiscot County Jail where he was incarcerated.

Steele Police submitted a report to the Pemiscot County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and a warrant was issued on Myers charging him with a class B felony of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. His bond was set at $10,000.
