Strong perimeter shooting propels Holcomb boys to 70-44 win against Senath-Hornersville

HOLCOMB, Mo. - The Holcomb Hornets varsity boys basketball team knocked down 10 3-pointers Tuesday night on its way to a 70-44 win against the Senath-Hornersville Lions.

Ryan Reeves drained a team-high five treys for Holcomb. He finished with 15 points.

Jamie Massey scored 24 points for the Hornets and Michael Glover added 14 more.

Senath-Hornersville, which led the game 15-13 at the end of the first quarter, hit three of its four 3-pointers after halftime. Four players knocked down one trey each for the Lions.

Kyle Moore led the Lions with 13 points. Austin Autry added 10 points for Senath-Hornersville.

Senath-Hornersville (2-3) is back in action Thursday when it visits Caruthersville (3-2). Senath-Hornersville will also host Clarkton (4-2) on Friday.

Holcomb (3-1) is back in action Friday when it plays at Cooter in a Tri-County Conference showdown.
