Pauline "Nanny" Hardin, 82, of Clarkton died Monday, November 19, 2012, at her residence in Clarkton. She was affiliated with Malden United Pentecostal Church.

Born June 11, 1930, in Hornersville, she was the daughter of the late Louis Benjamin Wren and Minnie (Colechester) Wren. In 1963 in Kennett, she was united in marriage to Samuel Sanford Hardin, Jr., who preceded her in death on September 26, 2006.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Josephine McGee; five sisters, Goldie Marie Wren, Helen Jewel Wren, Opalene Widows, Grace Elizabeth Wren and Sara Minnie Louise Wren; two brothers, James Edgar Wren and Frank Wren, four grandchildren, Angela Marie Garcia, Anthony "Tony" Cruz Garcia, Timothy Allen Garcia and Kimberly Dawn Hill and one daughter-in-law, Daisy Marie Garcia.

Survivors include, two daughters, Sheila Hill and husband, Donnie, of Campbell and Teresa Richardson and husband, Terry, of Clarkton; four sons, Andy Garcia and wife, Marshanda, of Campbell, Gary Allen Garcia of Nashville, Floyd Lawrence and wife, Carmen, of Rowlett, Texas and Howard Hardin of Malden; one sister, Mary Francis Wren of Nashville, Tenn., eleven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, November 20 at Malden United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday, November 21, at 11:00 a.m., at Malden United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Burial will be at Lynn Oak Cemetery at Clarkton. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
