Almedia June Windham, 78, of Gideon, Mo., passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at her residence.
Born Oct. 19, 1934, in Wardell, Mo., daughter of the late Alva Clayton and Louise Rhines Clayton, she was a Mary Kay consultant, a member of the Wardell FirstBaptist, and a member of the Gideon Women's Club.
On June 3, 1950, in Piggott, Ark., she married W.K. Windham.
Survivors include her husband, W.K. Windham, of Gideon; four daughters, Sharon K. Fielder and husband, Buddy, of Gideon, Patty Swims and husband, Hank, of Portageville, Mo., and LeeAnn Halstead and husband, Clint, and Melissa Sharp and husband, Marshall, all of Gideon; two brothers, Alva "Bud" Clayton, of Parma, Mo., and John Clayton, of Steele, Mo.; six grandchildren, David Fielder, Chadd Fielder, Whitney Swims, Tommy Halstead, Matt Sharp and Allie Sharp, and three great-grandchildren, Madison Fielder, Cody Fielder and Kason Fielder.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam Clayton and Bob Clayton, and three sisters, JoAnn Baird, Carolyn Clayton and Betty Jean Hayes.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Gideon with Rev. Griff Walker officiating.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
