James Charles was raised in Kennett and went to Kennett Schools. He worked and ran the Windmill Package Store. He loved to fish, hunt and loved southern rock and roll with a little bit of some blues. Charlie has always been the kinda guy to do anything to help anyone at any time if he possibly could. Charlie told me one time he had never been a rich man with lots of money, but that he felt like he had always been rich with friends and that is more important. He was a man that I have always had the honor to call my best friend. All week we have been praying for him to get better and not to be suffering. As I am still praying for this, I am now praying for his Aunt Penny and Beth who have not left him, know that my heart is with you all.
