Russell Warren "Russ" Dickerson, 76, passed away Saturday, June 2, 1012, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Rick Cottrell officiating.
Burial was in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens and Cemetery at Hohenwald, Tenn.
Dickerson was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Senath, Mo., the son of the late James Roy Dickerson and Virgie Jordan Dickerson. He was a 1953 graduate of Senath High School, and was the plant manager at Certified Industries.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Dickerson, of Hohenwald; two sons, David Dickerson and wife, Theresa, of Dawsonville, Ga., and Robert Petzold, of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Roxane Reeves and husband, Clint, of Hohenwald; three brothers, James Dickerson, of Jackson, Calif., Preston Dickerson, of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Roy B. Dickerson, of South Haven, Mich.; two sisters, Edna Ledford, of Apopka, Fla., and Sue Williams, of Stevensville, Mich., and three grandchildren, Trisha Dickerson, of Dawsonville, and Stephanie Leigh and Clint Leigh, both of Hohenwald.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Russell Wayne Dickerson.
