Jessie Lou Link, 90, of Malden died Sunday, October 21, 2012, at NHC in Kennett. She taught Sunday School for 50 years, sang in the choir. She was a former volunteer at the Nutrition Center, former member of Jaycettes and Red Hat Society. She was former owner of Spring Crest Drapery in Malden and was a life long member at First Southern Baptist Church in Malden.

Born September 5, 1922, in Hackleburg, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Franklin Columbus and Rebecca Elizabeth (Armstrong) Gregg. On June 27, 1943, in Bernie, she was united in marriage to Elvis Malcomb Link, who preceded her in death on September 20, 1987.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Teela Koch and Della Wilson and three brothers, R.C. Gregg, I.J. Gregg and Clovis Gregg.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Randolph and husband Buddy, of Poplar Bluff, Sandra Newman and husband, Robert, of Lake Placid, Fla., and Sheila Brown and husband, Gary, of Conklin, Mich.; one son, Malcomb Link, Jr. of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Lee Randolph of Piedmont, Lori Garrison of Piedmont, Lyle Randolph of Clarkton, Jared Link of Los Angeles, Calif., Nate Brown of Alexandria, Va., Chad Brown of Grand Rapids, Mich., Justin Brown of Hanford, Ca., Angie Hilfiker of Malden and David Douglass of Broken Arrow, Okla.; two sisters, Estelle Dieter of Dexter and Jean Dunn of Sand Springs, Okla., one brother, Morris Gregg of Dexter, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Tuesday, October 23, in Bradshaw Funeral Home at Malden. Funeral services will be conducted today, Wednesday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Aulden LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett. Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
