Edmund Earl Huffines, son of the late Wayne and Ethel Haire Huffines, was born March 19, 1926, in Hornersville, Mo., and passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould, Ark., at the age of 86.
On July 15, 1950, in Piggott, Ark., he married Elwanda Edwards, who preceded him in death on June 27, 2011. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Leon, George and Curtis Huffines; one sister, Faye Tucker and one great-grandson, Braxton Smith.
Survivors include one son, Bob Huffines and wife, Ima, of Paragould; one daughter, Cheryl Clark and husband, Randy, of Paragould; one sister, Lora Mae Gates, of West Memphis, Ark.; four grandchildren, Hannah Huffines, Heather Huffines, Becky Smith and Sheila McKay; two great-grandchildren, Chance Smith and Tiffany Batchelor, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to service time at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.
Grave side services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath.
