Kennett's Smith wins Cage of Honor title

Kennett resident Bo Smith defeated Matt Gephart in the 185-pound Cage of Honor East Regional Title bout Saturday night in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Cage of Honor 53 was presented by B and L promotions. The card consisted of 14 fights.

Smith's match was the main event. He won the championship with a 33 second technical knockout. Smith now holds the 170-pound belt out of Tennessee and the 185-pound Cage of Honor East Regional Title.

Smith trains in Kennett with Team Punishment under Tim Smith. He currently has an 8-3 record and is sponsored by Body Mechanics Fitness.
