Damon Heath Birmingham, Sr., son of the late Danny Gene Birmingham and Teresa Ford Birmingham, was born July 26, 1971, in Kennett, and departed this life Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at the age of 41.
He is survived by his grandmother, Alice Birmingham, of Kennett, Missouri.
One son: Damon Heath Birmingham and Brittany Muse, of Kennett; one grandson, Triston Heath Birmingham, of Kennett; two sisters, Heather Angelette Gaston and husband, Michael, of Jackson, Mo., and Melissa Faber and husband, Tony, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; nephews and nieces, Mae Angelette Gaston, Jake Michael Gaston, Jordan and Devon Yahn, and other relatives and many friends.
Damon was a proud new grandfather with a big heart, a great sense of humor and was a wonderfully gifted musician. He spent most of his free time studying the Bible. He had a sincere heart for Jesus. Damon also served in the United States Navy. He will be dearly missed.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 21, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with Rev. Chris Maynard officiating.
