The Kennett Police Department is currently investigating two armed robbery reports over the past several nights.
According to the Sgt. Steve Williams, the first incident was reported on Monday night, October 1, 2012, at approximately 11:05 p.m.
The victim was reported to have been working on a trailer in the 500 block of Slicer Street in Kennett, when two men -- who he believed to have been one white male and one black male, both wearing dark colored hoodies -- approached him.
The victim said one suspect pointed a handgun at him while the other suspect took the victim's wallet. The amount of money taken is undetermined at this time. Both suspects then ran from the scene.
The second incident was reported on Wednesday night, October 3, 2012, at approximately 10:37 p.m., where the victim, who lives on the 900 block of Compress Court, told Kennett Police Officers that two black males forced their way into her home wielding handguns and demanding money. Both of the suspects were clothed in dark colored hoodies.
