File photo Walkers and runners participate in the Senath Women's Club Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in 2011.
With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Senath's Women's Club will be sponsoring the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk this year, as they have done for the past five years. Last year's event had 500 participants and even greater numbers are expected this year.

The Senath Women's Club, as one of the community's businesses, depend on the community members support. The club greatly accepts and appreciates cash donations, an item to be used as a prize, items used as give-aways or promotional items for businesses to put in each goody bag.

Any donation with a value of $75 or more will receive advertising space on the sponsor section of the specially designed T-shirts being made. The larger the donation, the larger the ad space.

Everyone is encouraged to decorate their homes and or businesses in pink. The theme is "Paint the Town Pink for October."

The ladies associated with the Senath Women's club will feature pictures on their Facebook page, keyword Senath Women's Club. The ladies also encourage people to join them in the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, by registering and walking with them.

Contact Pam Small at 573-738-3121, Tammy Gibson at 573-738-2088 or any Senath Women's Club member for any questions or donations that need picked up. If businesses would like to participate, by being a sponsor for the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, the Senath Women's Club must have the information by the deadline, Wednesday, October 10, 2012, when the T-shirts will be sent to be printed.
