Frances A. Davis, daughter of the late Bill Hurst and Ilean Mitchell Hurst was born on May 15, 1928, in Townley, Mo., and departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at the age of 84 years, four months and 17 days.
On May 5, 1944, in Piggott, Ark., she married Eulas Lee Davis and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1996. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Dewayne and Richard Hurst; three sisters, Juanita Bell, Virginia Vaughn and Margaret Jackson, and brother-in-law, Dick Thornton.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Davis and wife, Shirley, of Senath, Mo., Terry Davis and wife, Faye, of Kennett, and Roger Davis and wife, Elda, of Cardwell, Mo.; one daughter, Regina Pate and husband, John, of Kennett; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Thorton of Winter Garden, Fla., and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m., to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Glyn Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Davis, Chris Duncan, Daniel Davis, Jorge Meza, Greg Campbell and Teddy Thurman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Davis and Kevin Davis.
